Sonny McClamrock is a devoted husband, father, and faith-driven leader with a passion for building strong men, strong families, and stronger communities. A former police officer and detective, Sonny spent 15 years on the front lines of justice, specializing in crimes against people and children—including human trafficking—where he fought daily to protect the vulnerable and uphold what is right.Today, Sonny channels that same courage and conviction into his work as the founder of The Forge of Quail Valley, a Christian mentorship initiative designed to equip young men with biblical values, leadership, and purpose. Through discipleship, retreats, and intentional brotherhood, The Forge helps boys become men of integrity—warriors who know who they are in Christ and what they’re called to do. He is also the owner of Big State Roof Solutions, a family-run roofing company built on honesty, excellence, and service. Whether on the roof or in the lives of the next generation, Sonny’s mission is clear: to fight for freedom, speak truth boldly, and raise up men who walk in strength and faith.

just a good ol country boy

Sonny was born in Thomasville NC and lived there with his parents, grandparents and extened family and friends. While in NC, he worked the gardens, farms, hunted and fished and played in the march band.

Graduated from Evangel University

Sonny attended and graduated from Evangel University from 1996 to 2000, BS in CJ and minor in Biblical Studies.

1st Police job

University of Texas Police

Sonny was hired at the University of Texas Police Systmes in 2001 where he worked as a patrol officers for approximately 2 years.

Sonny then was hired by the Missouri City Police Department in Late 2001 where we worked the streets until being promoted to detective where he worked crimes against people and children, including sexual assaults and human trafficking. Sonny was also apart of the bicycle patrol team as well as the fitness coaching team.

After serving the MCPD in 2015 started T3 Cross Training in Stafford/Missouri City TX, where he bought and ran Snap Fitness MC, where he was a personal and group fitness coach as well as a nutritional and wellness specialist.
